I have not discovered the words, and have therefore adapted the first stanza of In Taunton Dean, which will be found entire in The Merry Musician, or a Cure for the Spleen, i. 306. |

GOOD MORROW, GOSSIP JOAN. This tune was introduced into The Beggars' Opera, The Court Legacy, Tfie Oxford Act, and other ballad-operas. The song, Good morrow, Gossip Joan, is in Pills to purge Melancholy, vi. 315; and " Happy Dick," to the same tune, in Watts's Musical Miscellany, iv. 36, and in Vocal Miscellany, vol. i., 1734.
